We’re currently looking for a Parts Counter Salesperson / Service Assistant at our Byron Center location. This is a hybrid role that primarily focuses on parts sales while also assisting the service department when needed.
What You’ll Do
- Assist customers at the parts counter and over the phone
- Look up parts using catalogs and diagrams
- Provide pricing, process payments, and ensure excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate parts inventory and a clean workspace
- Help write service orders and assist customers with service needs
- Help load and unload equipment as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical knowledge and lawn care/mower experience
- Ability to read parts diagrams and troubleshoot customer needs
- Comfortable using computers and POS systems
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Must be at least 18 years old
Prior parts or inventory experience preferred, but not required.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- Alternating Saturday mornings
